Keeping You Safe and COVID-Secure

The COVID-19 pandemic has turned the world upside down. We don’t need to remind you of that. But we do need to remind you of this: Your health and wellbeing is our #1 priority.

As we reopen, Evolution will be taking all the necessary steps to keep you safe – social distancing, deep cleaning, smaller class sizes, pre-class queuing to name a few. We’re following the guidance of the government and our advisory body, U.K. Active, but we also need your cooperation. Please review our policies to help us ensure the best possible experience for all at Evolution.

Before

  • Pre-booking is essential. All classes must be booked online in advance of your session. Please do not show up at the studio without a booking.

  • Don’t come in you’re ill. Common sense prevails! If you’re feeling iffy, don’t show up. Cancel online or call us at 020 8878 8708.

  • Show up on foot. We are unable to store bikes at this time. Please arrive on foot.

  • Come in your kit. Dress for the watts you want. Arrive dressed and ready for class with as few personal items as possible. Any items left behind will be disposed of each night.

  • BYOB. Bring your own beverage, ideally water, and make sure you have enough to get you through class. Our team will not be refilling water bottles.

  • Arrive no more than 10 minutes early. Members will need to queue outside the studio before each class. If you don’t want to wait long, don’t arrive too early.

  • Queue like a legend. Upon arrival, please queue outside on the St. Leonard’s Road-side of the studio. We’ve marked the pavement to help you know where to stand. Just look for the logo.

  • Check in at reception. In order to comply with Track and Trace, we need all members to check in at the reception desk. Kindly remind us of your name, and we’ll get you on your way.

During

  • Stay clean. Sanitiser stands are conveniently located throughout the studio. Please use them before, during, and after class.

  • One-way system. We will be operating a one-way system in the studio where possible. Be prepared to enter through the front door, move to and from your designated studio space in a single-file manner, and exit out the back.

  • Minimal storage. Lockers will be available for personal items. However, we encourage you to bring as little as possible with you. Only the essentials, legends.

  • Get to where you’re going. Whilst spacious, we ask that you do not congregate at reception, in the hallways, or changing rooms. Maintain social distancing and make moves.

  • Smaller class sizes. Both the indoor cycling and group fitness studios will have a limited capacity to ensure appropriate social distancing. Yet another reason to pre-book, eh?

  • Handle your own equipment. Bikes, barbells, slam balls. If you use it, only you should touch it. Please adjust your own bikes and select your own equipment as instructed.

  • Keep your hands to yourselves. The new studio looks slick – we get it. But please refrain from touching anything that doesn’t belong to you – that includes the pull-up bar, tough guy.

After

  • Sweat. Clean. Leave. You are responsible for your own mess. That means wiping down your bike, mat, equipment and floor space, placing your used towel in a designated bins, sanitising your hands, and heading out. Make sure you allow plenty of time to clean before your next commitment.

  • No item left behind. Lost and found? More like lost and tossed. We cannot hold onto the personal items left behind at the studio. Please be sure to take all your items with you when you leave.

  • Shower at home. It’s a shame because the water pressure is great. But we must ask that you hold off on using the showers for now.

  • Exit out the back. Go back from whence you came, but out a different door. Please exit out the back door after class. It will be signposted.

We’re here to make your return to Evolution a tip, top, and truly tidy experience. And we appreciate your help it making in possible. Any questions? Contact us at info@evolutionldn.com or 020 8878 8708.
